The Subconscious and Conscious Mind

We think our conscious minds, our logic, reasoning and critical thinking minds, are the drivers and decision makers in our lives, when in fact they are not.

Modern science, particularly in the fields of psychology, neuroscience, and behavioural economics, has increasingly recognized the significant role of the subconscious mind in decision-making processes.

Our subconscious minds are the driving force behind our thinking patterns, our actions and reactions and our behaviours. It stores our beliefs and our values, determines how we remember events, which memories we keep or forget, monitors information that surrounds us, decides what to send to the conscious mind and what should be stored and kept for later, and are responsible for our habits, intuition and emotions.
